I was utterly charmed by Jay Munly. During the show, someone had left an empty beer bottle on the stage and he kicked it off. I picked it up so no one would step on it. He saw me and thought it was my beer, and went, grabbed his stein of beer and handed it to me.

I kept trying to give it back, but he was way into the show and didn't notice, so I took a couple of swigs. Finally, there was a lull, and I offered it back to him. He said, "No, I kicked yours over," and I said, "No, that wasn't mine, it was just somebody's empty," and he looked sad and said, "Oh," and took his beer back.

After the show, I pointed out to him that if I HAD left my beer on the stage, I'd deserve to have it kicked over.

I dunno... it was just so *sweet*.

Absolutely, postively the scene from L.A. Story where Steve Martin and Victoria Tennant have been brought together and they begin to walk hand in hand through a forest to the music of Enya, and turn into children. Then, as they pass the stone lions at the gate, the lions bow their head to them. That scene makes my heart ache and brings happy tears to my eyes every single time. It always reminds that the best kind of love is the one which makes you feel young and innocent and joined forever in beauty and music to your partner down life's path.

I even managed to find a clip, and yes, I am teary eyed right now from watching it.

Haven't been posting because so little has been happening. I am feeling better since being sick, but I have this lingering cough.

Halloween was fun. We had a lot of trick-or-treaters and we ran out of candy so we ended up turning off our lights a little early. Some of the kids were dressed in pretty cool outfits, my favorite was a garden gnome with a kid who was about 2 years old.

Barb and I went to a party at Laura and Christian's house. It was a fairly small party, but I had a good time. I probably drank a bit too much as this morning, I am feeling a bit hungover. I had two masks, one that was a zombie mask and I could talk out of and drink while wearing, and another mask that was a bandanna and I could not drink while wearing. They were both okay masks, but each had some issues, so for some of the night I didn't wear any mask. Barb went as a pirate. I was trying to get some pirate booty all night, but was unsuccessful. Some of the other people at the party were dressed pretty fun. We got a few pictures and they are under the cut, along with some snarky remarks, so click if you dare!
